Our client, an established player in the EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) space, is looking to hire a Vice President of Human Resources. The VP of HR will manage a team of 2 (a recruiter and an HR generalist) supporting just under 150 employees and growing. This is replacing an incumbent who has been with the company for several years and who had proven the value of HR to the business. The VP of HR will report to the a highly passionate CEO and Founder, collaborating very closely with the broader executive leadership team. As the company continues to scale, our client is seeking someone who can take the business from adolescence into adulthood, implementing mature HR process, while retaining the entrepreneurial aspects of the company culture that make this such an exciting place to work. There will be an opportunity to grow the team by hiring a trainer and possibly another recruiter to the team in Q1 2020. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of HR experience with reach to all areas of HR (talent development, training, engagement & culture, recruitment, positive employee relations, benefits planning, HR systems, compensation and HR operations) gained in both established and hi-growth early stage companies.
