One of the UK's leading investment management firms are looking to hire a newly created Training & Competence Specialist to assist the Head of Training & Competence in the implementation and management of the Training & Competence, Supervision and SMCR regimes.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact to the business. As the Training & Competence Specialist you will regularly review and update training and competence policies and ensure new recruits and supervisors are aware of the responsibility and requirements. You will also input relevant information to the FCA systems and provide expert advice, support and guidance to all certified and regulated staff including supervisors and workers.
To be successful within this role you will have practical experience of working on training and competence schemes and SMCR arrangements within the Financial Services sector. You will have extensive knowledge of T&C practices and also keep up to date with developments and best practice.
