Our client, a tech disruptor in the automotive field, is seeking to hire a recruiter to handle technical recruiting across software development, hardware/infrastructure, database management and digital. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of proven recruitment experience for technical populations. Direct sourcing capabilities are critical for success. This recruiter will have a LinkedIn Recruiter license, but should be well-versed in alternate means of identifying and connecting with technical talent (user groups, hackathons, etc.). This is a full life cycle recruiting role and will entail everything from formatting and posting job descriptions, scheduling phone screens, updating data in the applicant tracking system, generating offer letters, etc. There is administrative support for scheduling on-site interviews.
This is a late stage VC-backed company which is currently in high growth mode. Processes are evolving and there will be an opportunity to contribute to defining the recruitment function as part of the overall talent acquisition team. A collaborative and low ego approach to work will be as critical to success as technical skills in recruitment. The ideal candidate will have worked in a large organization with an established recruitment capability, but also spent some time in an early stage recruitment function in which building out the processes and structure was a critical component of success.
