We are pleased to be working with an e-commerce company that has outperformed their growth forecast and mandates in the last year, particularly within the Asia markets. As one of the pioneers in the field, our client has expanded immensely over the years, and now operates across both customer-to-customer (C2C) and business-to-consumer (B2C) models. To outperform its competitors, it has rolled out a slew of initiatives such as securing exclusive partnerships with logistical companies to ensure timely and seamless delivery, as well as practise market localization to make shopping convenient for its users. As Southeast Asia (SEA) continues to make up the thrust of their growth, the client is looking for a Talent Acquisition Lead to facilitate such efforts. This position will be based in Singapore.

Job Description

Reporting to the Global Director of Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Lead's key responsibility is to drive recruitment strategies and directions for the Southeast Asia region, with the end goal of cultivating a culture of high performance within the organization. This would entail holding regular conversations with business leaders to identify the capabilities, experience and potential of current employees, and align those with the organisation's growth strategy in order to reveal talent gaps and development needs. You will likewise assume a hands-on role in the recruitment process to plug in extant needs, such as sitting in select interview processes so as to facilitate the provision of talent advice to hiring managers.

Job Requirements

You should have a proven record for identifying talents with the potential to contribute to the long-term goals of a company, as well as possess sound knowledge of the various recruitment tools (e.g. LinkedIn) and channels needed for building a strong network. Initiative is a highly desired trait as you need to proactively source for passive markets so as to build up the talent pipeline. Also essential are good communications skills, both verbal and written, as you will be the go-to person for advice and any outstanding queries that the junior recruiters might have. A good understanding of the visa stipulations of the region is desirable.
