A fascinating opportunity has arisen with a global professional services business to own the employee benefits and pensions agenda for the International regions outside of the US. The line manager, the newly appointed Global Benefits Director, is based in London, and has recently been promoted in to this position. You will be working alongside the CHRO, the Head of Ops and Global Benefits Director on a day to day basis, whilst managing a team of 4 in the Benefits Team.

You will be responsible for complete oversight and autonomy in the International Benefits landscape which has a population of over 2,000 employees. You will be directly involved with strategic work in EMEA, APAC and LATAM, whilst having a helping hand for the USA. You will be the main point of contact for all providers of their flex program, their global brokers, and pensions providers, whilst being the face of the benefits agenda internally. You will have involvement in all things benefits inclusive of core, flex, insurances, health and wellbeing, and wellness. Pensions will also be a large chunk of this wide role, where you will manage pension providers, advise internal stakeholders of new legislations in different regions, assist with broker liaisons, and ensure compliance is adhered to.

Key projects in the coming months will be to be a pathfinder for the business, ensuring all policies are written and clearly documented, frameworks built and established, and processes adhered to. You will also be responsible for setting budgets for each international office whilst presenting to extremely senior stakeholders globally. You will utilise your excellent analytical ability when setting these budgets and feel comfortable using Microsoft Excel.

In order to be successful in this challenging and exciting role, you will have experience in a global Benefits role, have managed a team of more than 1 person, be well versed in pensions knowledge and regulations, whilst being a very strong communicator, both written and verbally. You must have the ability to create processes and frameworks in a fast paced and dynamic culture, and be able to build strong rapport with senior business leaders on a global scale. Being analytical is extremely important, so good Microsoft Excel knowledge is key, and you must be driven, resilient, an excellent negotiator, with a strong commercial edge.
