My client, a global professional services firm is in the market for a Senior L&D Advisor. This is a 12 month maternity cover starting in November.
Reporting into the L&D Director and managing an L&D Assistant you are responsible for ensuring that everyone across the business has the same opportunity to benefit from learning and development, whilst providing guidance on career development and supporting in the delivery of regional and international learning requirements.
In this role you will act as the first point of contact for all learning and development requests for fee earning, business services and secretarial staff. You'll design a range of soft skills programmes in line with the needs of the business, such as people management programmes. In addition, you'll maintain the current core programme courses, ensuring the content is still relevant and provides new insights for the intended audience.
Delivery is also key with a variety of core programme courses and on-line webinars you will lead. There is also the chance to manage and deliver a wide variety of projects and bespoke events as required by the business.
You will work with the Graduate Recruitment team to provide assistance on all aspects of the trainee cycle from induction to qualification, providing general support throughout the period of recognised training. You will also be responsible for providing coaching and support to Associates and junior business services staff.
To be considered for this role you need previous experience working in a professional services firm with demonstrable experience in delivering training needs analysis and training programmes in a Partnership environment. Some experience in event management would be advantageous and good communications skills and confidence is standard.
