Our client:

Our client is a successful Asian HQ boutique Investment Bank with a small but steadily growing base in Singapore. They have engaged our services exclusively for a Senior HR Manager to manage a team of four who you will nurture and develop and be accountable for a progressive HR agenda and stakeholder relations with Partners.

The role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a firm and develop the team, re-brand the HR function, put new and streamlined process and policies into place. You will own the HR strategy & HR Ops for Singapore and liaise with your regional counterparts.

This is the most senior position within Singapore and will need to be autonomous and have accountability for the people aspects with for a mid sized banking office. Stakeholder management, relationship building and flexibility for the business will be a key competency for the role. This person will have matrix reporting to the business and HR.

The population is made up of white-collar professionals who are highly educated. Based in Singapore, this role will be responsible for the implementation of the HR strategy and smooth running of daily operations.

Strategic Oversight;

You will play a lead role in the development and implementation of commercial HR solutions (in line with the firm's parameters and local market) to support the firm's strategy for Singapore. This will include establishing strong operational excellence, being a change leader when necessary, supporting talent management processes, operational efficiency and HR expertise.

You will act as a lead on a number of HR initiatives and collaborate with global/APAC counterparts to roll out diversity, engagement, health and wellbeing, graduate and internship programmes and other projects that play to your strength and leaning.

Background;

  • To be considered for this role you will come with exposure within financial Services, with a strong preference for Investment Banking, Asset Management, Private Equity or Securities.
  • Language Requirement: You must speak and read in Chinese at a business level to review any key documents. Writing would be beneficial, but not essential.
