My client is a UK and global service provider with over 160,000 employees operating in 43 countries across the world. They are looking to hire a Senior HR Business Partner to join their team and support the South Home counties.

As Senior HR Business Partner you will be responsible for the development and deployment of the People Plan for your client group across the South Home Counties. This role will advise senior operational managers on appropriate People Plan activities to ensure alignment of these to the wider business strategy. You will support the People team with defining and guiding the HR direction to support the delivery of the operational plan. Within this role you will also liaise with the Centre of Excellence and HRS teams to successfully deliver HR operational activity.

As a key driver for the strategic operation of the People plan you will have experience delivering change and performance through people. You will work closely with senior operational managers coaching them on best practise and acting as the HR lead for any business issues in line with the People Plan. You will be the expert on Industrial Relations ensuring that they adhere to the IR Framework principles and advise and guide your stakeholders to ensure plans are thought through and commercially sound. As Senior HR Business Partner you will champion all cultural change initiatives ensuring that the organisations values are being followed. Working with the internal talent team you will deploy the talent and resourcing strategy to put in place plans and activities to retain, attract and onboard great talent.

To be successful in this role you will have excellent UK legislation knowledge and a in depth understanding of Industrial Relations and will have worked with trade unions within a highly unionized environment. You will have HR Business Partner experience within a large organisation and give examples of excellent stakeholder management. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to work collaboratively with a confident yet fair approach in order to build productive relationships. This role requires daily travel across sites within the South Home Counties.

Salary: £70,000
