One of the world's leading professional services organisations is currently looking for a Senior Employee Relations Manager to cover a maternity leave for 12 months. The role sits as part of the Employee Relations & Policy team, which provides commercially focused internal advice and know-how on the risks and rights of major employee relations cases and firm wide initiatives.
The function also work with and advise the wider HR team such as Recruitment and Reward & Benefits. It is also responsible for ensuring the firm's employment terms and related documents/policies are in line with its people strategy and with best practice and legislation.
Day to day, you will be responsible for managing complex and/or high risk ER cases with a focus on advice, guidance and coaching. This may also include advising the business on the appropriate strategy to manage Employment Tribunal claims as well as managing the relationship with the firm's legal representation in response to those claims or other matters. Other responsibilities will include advising on business restructuring, producing contractual documentation and managing TUPE transfers.
You must have significant hands-on experience of dealing with complex ER matters (misconduct, grievances, performance etc) in a global, matrix structure business to be considered for this role. The role requires an effective and professional communicator who is able to build relationships with stakeholders and work with a high volume of cases. A professional services backgrounds is preferred and it would be beneficial is you had operated in a specialist ER position previously, as well as prior knowledge of WorkDay and strong analytical skills.
