A new opportunity for a HR Professional that has managed a blue collar workforce/worked within a regulated heavy industry with a strong health & safety ethos, or for a current Safety Manager/Lead looking for their next role. This is the lead for Asia and will work closely with an existing lead for another region to share best practice. The client is a global Consultancy, voted 'Top 10 Best Places to Work For'.
Responsible for safety and wellbeing initiatives and safety governance in line with regulatory and business needs. This person will liaise with senior leaders and act as a key influencer and driver of the safety awareness culture. Regularly identifying, coordinating and delivering safety training to manager and leaders. Create a roadmap for the organisation encompassing the Asia population with regards to safety and wellbeing. The successful candidate will act as a role model for creating a safety culture and for the promotion of wellbeing in the workplace. This person will undertake/contribute to internal and external investigations where required.
Wellbeing - this person will act as a key contributor in collaboration with the wider HR team and the business in the implementation of safety and wellbeing strategies, partnering with key stakeholders internally and externally.
Metrics - This person will create and identify relevant safety and wellbeing trends and metrics for the development of solutions in consideration of wider Group initiatives. Also responsible for any safety and wellbeing reporting.
The successful candidate could be; An established HR Professional with a blue collar workforce/hard industry (oil & gas/manufacturing/energy/plant exposure etc) or, a current Health & Safety Manager looking for a new challenge.
Experience of the China market is highly desirable.
