A superb opportunity has arisen with a global investment firm to become their EMEA compensation lead working alongside a small HR team. In this broad compensation focussed position you'll be tasked with looking after every vehicle of remuneration on offer at the firm across UK and mainland Europe, whilst linking in to the global HQ outside of Europe.
You will be responsible for looking after their incentive program to both front office and corporate teams, whilst ensuring regulations are complied with by the governing bodies in the UK and EMEA. You will focus on some executive compensation projects, particularly around RemCo time, and whilst this sits in HQ outside of the UK, you will be involved in informal EMEA RemCos and present when necessary. You will have detailed projects around analytics with regards to reward, and work closely with the EMEA HR Director and Head of Legal to facilitate and implement regulatory compensation frameworks.
It is critical you are able to work to strict deadlines, often as part of a global team, but also sometimes autonomouslyas the subject matter expert for EMEA. You will have strong analytical capabilities, particularly on Excel, and have either a large investment bank background, or have worked in smaller asset or investment manager. You must have the ability to build relationships with stakeholders across the globe, whilst being able to provide recommendations on bonus calculations and pools for the EMEA business lines. You will be a team player, often picking up extra project work outside of compensation, and have innovative ideas on building new compensation vehicles like phantom share plans for the investment employees.
