About Our Client
Our client is a renowned household brand in the FMCG space with a global reach. They are market leaders in what they do and have aggressive plans to expand in Asia Pacific where their brand has penetrated the market strongly. Given the rapidly growing consumer buying power in the Asia Pacific region, they have pumped in resources to further bolster their human capital capabilities. Hence, they are now looking for a HR Operations Director to join them.
Reporting into the VP of HR, Asia, you will be leading a team of 5-6 direct reports covering the Asia Pacific landscape, providing operational excellence across all disciplines of HR. This role is a pivotal point that brings other functional leaders together to brainstorm and execute a seamless HR process that would help track employee experience. Furthermore, you will also review the various workstreams within the employment lifecycle and to continuously strive for improvements and changes. Another important aspect of the role is to partner closely with the country HRBPs to understand their operational needs, manage expectations and gather on the ground information that can help in driving employee engagement. In the first 12-18 months, there will be plenty of projects that will geared towards setting up new operations and embracing new system implementations (Success Factors).
The Successful Applicant
Ideally, you should possess approximately 10 years of HR operations experience equipped with a degree in Human Resources or its equivalence. Additionally, the ideal candidate should have team leading experience in the past and is strong in identifying gaps in processes and streamlining them efficiently. The successful incumbent would be someone who possesses a strong branding mindset and who constantly challenges the norm while innovating on new ideas and processes. You should come with sound general knowledge of the market conditions in Singapore with a good ability to communicate through both verbal and written. A good understanding of the macro environment while being a functional specialist to run an efficient operation would be highly desirable for this position. Lastly, this person should come across as highly people centric and have the ability to influence and bring people together
