The Regional Managing Director is looking for a 'right hand' who will be a trusted business partner and work closely with him on the continued development of both the business and employee experience. You will be a Culture Builder and work closely with the key talent in the region to coach, motivate and develop their skills and be a trusted confidant to them.
The design and delivery of a successful people strategy particularly around talent planning in key growth locations such as China will be key to your success in the role. Working closely with the global HR team on global projects (such as HRIS implementation) you will have access to 'best practice' but also have the ability to adapt and localise these for the Asia market.
With a matrixed structure in the region you will work with country GM's and HRM's on local issues around recruitment, L&D, ER, C&B as well as coach, mentor the regional leadership team.
Travel is essential in this role with around 50% expected. As the role is outcome focused the company do offer great flexibility around where you work so do offer work from home or anywhere in the region!

If you are an experienced business partner with creative thinking and a commercial focus then this could be a great opportunity to partner with a progressive management team that understands the importance of culture and employee experience. The ideal candidate will have a combination of both business operations experience as well as Human Resources experience so may have started their career on a management trainee programme or moved across from a commercial business role to HR at some point in your career. This is a customer focused company so applicants who have worked in similar or consumer focused business (i.e. retail/hospitality/tourism etc) are of particular interest. HR professionals with an MBA will also be viewed favourably.
