About Our Client

We are delighted to be retained with a tech start-up who has achieved unicorn status (valued over $1 billion) in 2016, cashflow positive and profitability consecutively since 2017. Partnering with Fortune/Global 500 MNCs, they are experiencing overwhelming subscription to their services and platforms and they are setting their sights further to expand their business multi-fold. With the founders placing a very heavy emphasis on people, they are currently looking to find a Regional Head of HR Business Partnering who can support their growth in South East Asia region.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Chief HR Officer and Regional CEO you will be working with the management team in driving and spearheading changes to the organisation. You will ensure that the business has the people and organisational capabilities to support the business growth objectives through the provision of strategic customer focused HR solutions. Concurrently and/or subsequently, the focus will move towards providing sound HR advisory to the business and continue fostering stronger HR tools such as talent management, employee development, performance management and employee engagement. Lastly, it is to also create a fun and inclusive work environment where people can allow their creative juices to flow.

The Successful Applicant

Ideally, you possess a minimum of 15 years of Human Resources or HR Consulting experience equipped with a degree in HR or its equivalence. The successful applicant should be ready to be both operational and strategic as this position would require the rolling up of sleeves to set up things from scratch. Having prior experience in an e-commerce, tech or start-up environment will be necessary to the success of this role. You should have the innate ability to prioritise and manage conflicting priorities with strong stakeholder management skills to build relationships and influence through those relationships.
