  • Develop and maintain accurate project plans and exception plans; ensuring consistent application of project planning standards
  • Developing comprehensive business cases, identifying risk, benefit, cost and timescale analysis
  • Ensuring the project is run to the timescales agreed with the HR Senior Leadership team and the business
  • Ensure a relentless focus on quality, execution and achievement
  • Ensuring projects are effectively communicated through their development, execution & ultimately implementation
  • Managing the project to deliver agreed outputs, ensuring they remain aligned to business strategy, are within the original scope and on target
  • Managing both internal teams and external partners to deliver project obligations to time and to budget by developing relationships with all key stakeholders
  • Procuring the most cost-effective and competitive solutions
  • Ensuring appropriate handover of project outcomes to BAU environment and completion of project post evaluation
  • Co-ordinate the project team day-to-day, including (but not limited to) the business sponsor, 3rd party vendors, business analysts, development teams, IT, Finance, the PMO team and Steering Group members
  • Identify, plan for and manage to resolution project risks, issues and dependencies, including timely escalation in an appropriate manner and contingency planning when required
  • Regularly and transparently communicate project statuses, including key risks, issues, actions and dependencies to project stakeholders in line with agreed timelines and standards. Establish the status reporting mechanisms necessary to support accurate and timely information updates
  • Responsible for preparing and owning a project's benefits realisation plan and ensuring an effective handover of benefit realisation into BAU once the project team disbands
  • Responsible for ensuring that the Project's Financial controller is kept up to date with all aspects of project spend and forecast spend
  • Facilitate the capturing of requirements by collaborating with business analysts and product teams to support the definition of business and technology specifications
