I am working with a high growth start up currently completing their series B funding who are ready to hire a People Director. The role will be London based and will spearhead global growth as well as the full re-brand of the organisation. Having recently relocated their HQ to London, this role will work with the senior leadership team on Organisation Design as well as continuing to evolve the culture and environment. Currently employing 180 people in four countries, the growth plans over the next 2 years will be considerable and whilst consolidation in these markets is paramount, new market growth plans are in place.
Reporting into the Founder/CEO you will lead a team of 4 in HR and look to review the whole employee lifecycle. You will provide subject matter expertise in all things HR related, as well as being a sounding board to the senior team. Key tasks will include a global review of benefits, driving rapid growth hiring and starting to evolve and mature people processes. With secure funding and a solid financial base, the organisation is ready to invest in HR. A key task will be to review L&D and Talent, including sourcing and implementing a new LMS.
To be successful in this role you will have led a People function within a rapid growth VC enabled business. You will have experience in supporting a Founder/CEO and working with senior leadership teams. Implementing process whilst keeping the culture and growth mindset in place will be a key task, you will need to be able to evidence how you achieved this in prior roles. A commercial mindset and the ability to be both strategic and operational is critical.
