I am excited to be working with a globally recognised brand urgently seeking a Payroll Manager to join their team. With management responsibility for a team of three, you will oversee the quality and accuracy of Australia and New Zealand Payroll Processing while supporting the team and training as required

About the role

  • Support and administer Payroll Processing to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Manage and oversee all payroll for Australia and New Zealand together with HR colleagues
  • Ensure all related allowances where applicable are processed ongoing
  • Prepare and administer all required documentation together with HR colleagues
  • Initiate and administer all incoming and outgoing Expat Team members and all required actions regarding their onboarding and offboarding
  • Support HR colleagues in Annual Salary & benefits review process
  • Verifying payroll hours from Time & Attendance system to ensure correct rates are applied
  • Oversee and ensure all payments for external authorities are paid in a timely manger
  • Payment of Work Cover Claims
  • Oversee and administer all state Work Cover Premiums (Actuals & Forecasts) - as required
  • Reconcile AU and NZ Payroll Bank Account Transactions
  • Provide Stakeholders with weekly/fortnightly/monthly data requests
  • Administer/Track all wage recoveries
  • Centrelink GPPL Payment acceptable and payment via payroll for all eligible team members
  • Communicate changes in benefits and payroll processes to team members and provide training if necessary
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with all Payroll related vendors to ensure a quality working relationship

About you

You will have proven experience managing a team within a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Ideally, you will have used SAGE payroll or similar system and be comfortable working with HR systems, you must be able to hit the ground running. You will enjoy building relationships with stakeholders through your strong communication skills and seek to find solutions to support business needs. Furthermore, you will always be looking to improve processes and have a keen attention to detail, coming up with solutions to support best practice.

To allow for handover, this role is due to start immediately paying $120 -$130k inclusive of Super.
