Our client is a fast-growing and international retailer with more than 50,000 employees in Europe. In order to fulfil their ambitious growth plans our client is seeking to find the right individual to build up the international learning and development department from scratch. For their headquarter in the Dusseldorf area we are looking to recruit an

International HR Director of Learning and Development (m/f/d)

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Responsible for the strategic realignment of the international learning and development department
  • Leading the international learning and development team
  • Set-up and strategic development of the internal Learning Academy
  • Implementation of new concepts and global processes, including digital learning formats, both process-based and system-based (LMS)
  • Selection, conception and road map design to establish an adequate learning culture
  • Driving international change projects, shaping a new approach to HR
  • Leadership development

Candidate Profile

  • University degree in economics, psychology or Human Resources
  • Good Analytical skills
  • Several years of experience within Learning and Development, ideally in a fast paced environment
  • Experienced leader with strong entrepreneurial thinking and acting
  • Analytical skills
  • Adaptability and flexibility
  • Fluent English skills are mandatory
