Due to business changes, an HR Manager, Hong Kong role has arisen to partner with regional and leadership team to deliver human capital strategies and achieve overall organizational goals.
Being new branch office in Hong Kong, it is an important role that involves managing transitions after Merger & Acquisition, driving and delivering strategic people plans, localizing and implementing regional initiatives and talent strategies, promoting interactive culture and creating high level of engagement and performance.
Reporting through to Senior HR Manager in regional office, you will be leading the HR function in Hong Kong and working alongside with the regional Centre of Excellence team. You will act as an HR partner in driving people initiatives in accordance to business changes including but not limit to formulating resourcing and retention strategies, managing compensation and benefits revamp, bridging the gap between HK operations and regional HR team. This is an important role which requires the new person to act as the first layer of contact and to consistently and proactively building rapport with business, encouraging high-performing culture, ensuring HR policies are well in place and proactively giving advices according to business changes. Key to your success will be your ability to engage senior business leaders to execute HR plans and the ability to balance the interest of different key stakeholders.
The Successful Applicant
We are looking for a trustable people partner with sound experience in Biochemical, Industrial or Manufacturing industry. You will possess strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization. It is important for this person to possess good business sense with strong delivery. You must be highly proficient in both English and Chinese, including Cantonese & Mandarin. This is an individual contributor role which suits someone who are independent with not less than 8 years of HR experience.
