I'm currently working on a fantastic opportunity for a HR Manager to join a dynamic sports media business based in Central London.
The business are looking for a HR Manager to support their growing population of c.100 across London and the US. The London office has a diverse population of social media and creative professionals to sales, strategy and data analytics. The office is open plan and the staff are energetic, dynamic and friendly!
This is a standalone role, managing all HR related activities, reporting to the Global CFO. You'll also work closely with the COO and CEO. The role will be London based, with occasional travel to the US. You'll oversee HR activity there, working closely with the US Finance and Operations teams. You will also manage the Office Manager in the London office, who helps out with HR admin and scheduling.
This is a truly generalist role, where you will have responsibility for ER, including any change work - e.g. restructuring/redundancies, mental health and performance management, Recruitment, Benefits/Payroll & Systems, Global Mobility and you'll also manage their work experience placements. There will also be lots of projects to get stuck into e.g. overhauling their freelancer process and IR35 and looking at their internal policies e.g. maternity and shared parental leave. You'll have a lot of autonomy in the role and if you have a great idea, they are very open to hearing about it!
In this role they are looking for a confident and approachable HR professional. You'll be adaptable, comfortable dealing with ambiguity and able to understand the start-up mentality. In this role you'll be able to set your own agenda so you'll need to be a self-starter!
You'll ideally have experience working in a small team/standalone role previously in a similar sector.
