I am working exclusively with a well-known brand in Trowbridge who are actively recruiting for an HR Manager. This organisation is market leading in their field with an envious portfolio of products and brands. They have recently gone through a positive change programme resulting in this newly created role for an HR Manager.

As the HR Manager you will report into the HR Business Partner and will work closely with the HR leadership team to implement the operational and people strategy. The role is responsible for Support Functions which are Finance, Supply Chain and HR. Headcount is circa 230 people split across 2 sites. You will have line management responsibility for 1 person and will play an integral part in driving consistency across the business.

You will coach and support people managers to upskill in areas of employee relations casework, performance management and absence management. You will manage the starter and leaver process of the employee lifecycle, you will support the HRBP on change management projects, HR projects and will have full accountability for the health & well being agenda. Reporting and tracking of HR KPI's will be a major part of this role as well as working on the annual people cycle to include salary reviews, performance reviews etc.

This business is fast paced and due to recent changes has brought 2 major business units together. As the HR Manager you will need to build relationships and influence a wide range of stakeholders at different levels and demonstrate empathy and sensitivity when navigating around the change whilst focusing on embedding the new culture. The changing priorities of the business will require you to be adaptable and agile allowing you to prioritise immediate operational needs whilst also working on longer term projects.

To be successful in this role you will be operating in a fast paced generalist HR role ideally with line management responsibility. You will have excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to coach and challenge managers at all levels. You will have a natural flair and talent for HR and demonstrate the value and difference that a good HR function can make to a business. Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with numbers and data is key along with taking the initiative to lead and drive forward HR projects.

You will be CIPD Qualified and happy to travel between sites.

Salary is up to £45K + 10% bonus. This is a full time role but my client will look at flexible working options for the right candidate. They have parking on site and are easily commutable via public transport.
