Are you an established HR Generalist with a background in the legal or professional services industry? Then I may have a great opportunity, as my client is a UK law firm seeking an HR Manager on a 12 month FTC to join their business. As an organisation the HR team has 10, including an HR Director, two HR Managers who split a combination of the business services and fee-earning population and a dynamic and driven team of Advisors and Coordinators below.
This is a pat-time role (4 days a week) and will manage an HR Advisor. If you have management experience and enjoy working on upskilling more junior HR professionals as they establish their career then this role could be a great fit. The position itself handles the day to day operational HR support, working closely with senior commercial stakeholders so this is why experience in a partnership model is key. Beyond the day to day structure, there will be a number of strategic HR projects across the firm that this role can be involved with, leading on small aspects and working with the team.
Employee Relations will be a key aspect to this position so we will need someone who can run end to end case management and has exposure across a variety of ER cases. Ideally the person will have handled ER within a partnership model and will have managed from consultations through to tribunals.
