About Our Client
Our client is a renowned business in the Manufacturing industry, and they are considered a household name by many across Asia. They have undergone a few key transformations and with that, they are hoping to gain an even bigger market share and penetrate further into the Asia market. With that in mind, they are looking for a talented HR Manager (Manufacturing) to lead the function and move the organisation forward.
Reporting into the Senior Manager for HR, you will provide HR leadership in all aspects of business strategy to create structure, business processes, performance systems, solutions and metrics aimed at executing and achieving business goals. You will lead the manufacturing function, covering approximately 650 headcount and leading a team of 5-6 HR professionals across various manufacturing sites. You will develop strategic HR solutions for attraction, development and retention to ensure a healthy bench-strength of talents for their growth in Asia.
The Successful Applicant
Ideally, you possess a minimum of 8 years of Human Resources experience in manufacturing plant set-ups and have at least 5 years managing large teams both in-country and remotely, equipped with a degree in HR or its equivalence. The successful applicant should someone who is very strong in operations but have a penchant for stretching to move into strategy for commercial. Given the nature of plant environments, they need someone who is highly resilient and mature to manage demanding and straight forward stakeholders. They would require someone with high IQ/EQ to manage stakeholders and influence accordingly. Additionally, you will also come with strong Compensation and Benefits experience to lead the APAC C&B function.
