This is a great opportunity to join a market leader as the Site lead and HR Business Partner for three UK manufacturing and supply chain sites. The position is site based close to Leicester, Nottingham and Derby with travel to two other sites, and is supported by an HR Manager.
Reporting into the Group HR Director and with a dotted line into the site General Managers, this position will be responsible for all HR related activities across these sites and supporting a total headcount of c.350. Working closely with the senior leadership teams and alongside HR Operations you will take the lead role in all people related workstreams:
* Engagement & communication, including employee relations and working closely with trade union representatives
* Driving engagement, performance and cultural development
* Recruitment and onboarding, and skills gap analysis
* Reward and recognition
* Organisational change and development
* Leadership development
This is a challenging role that requires someone with gravitas and credibility who is able to work alongside senior stakeholders and be a part of the Site leadership teams. Ideally your experience will have been gained within a similar industry sector and working environment - manufacturing, supply chain, FMCG, engineering - managing the development and delivery of all site based HR activity. With broad HR Business Partnering experience you will have the ability to think strategically, be able to focus on leadership development, drive engagement and performance, drive project and change management and build strong relationships at all levels. This will include ER and Trade Union experience alongside strong knowledge of UK employment law. Alongside your HR generalist experience you will possess good business/financial acumen and have great communication skills.
Due to the nature of the role you will be expected to be on site all week with an early finish on Friday. The sites are based in Leicestershire and Buckinghamshire with the third site based in the North West. This site has an HR Manager reporting into this role and you would be expected to be there bi-weekly. The position comes with a competitive £base salary, car allowance, bonus and benefits.
