I am delighted to be partnering with an organisation that supports recreational sport, protecting our countryside and promoting a healthy lifestyle. They are looking to appoint a HR Business Partner to join the team and drive the HR Agenda.

As HR Business Partner within this organisation you will pay a key role in shaping the future of the HR department. The role has a HR Administrator reporting in that will support on all day to day employee lifecycle and support this role on all project work. The role will support the delivery of a newly created ambitious people plan that supports the directorates' strategies and enables the organisation to become a truly great place to work.

You will help build and deliver on activities related to the attraction, recruitment and development and retention of the employees. Paying a pivotal role within the organisation you will partner with Department Directors, coaching them and their managers to build their teams effectively, taking the HR team from a predominantly transactional operation to a true strategic partner to their stakeholders. Managing sensitive and at times complex employee issues, you will work closely with the organisations recognised Trade Union to ensure employee structures and issues are managed competently and effectively with a commercial mindset.

This role will offer the opportunity to be have autonomy across all areas of HR working closely with the senior leadership team to support across L&D, talent, employee engagement and management development. To be successful in this role you will have worked in a HR Generalist or HR Business role with in a SME sized business supporting multiple stakeholders. You will have good policy designing experience and will have worked or had exposure to Unions. The role holder will have CIPD or equivalent qualification.
