This leading international law firm based in the City is looking for a HR Business Partner to join the firm and lead its HR piece across Europe. Working in a stand alone role this opportunity is great for a solid HR generalist supporting an office of 200 plus the European piece. The firm is looking for a HR Business Partner already operating at this level, with previous legal experience who can offer full operational and strategic HR support end to end.
Working across a range of HR projects you will be supporting various practice areas with recruitment and talent development both for fee earning and business services teams. Supported by a larger HR function that sits in the US you will look to support the firm through any organisational change and ensure that succession planning is in place. Working closely with Partners and Heads of function you will ensure that all staff have a clear and aligned training and development programme that fits with their individual needs.
Alongside these strategic projects you will oversee all operational HR activities, from introduction and review of policies and procedures as well as ER and recrutiment. Reporting into both the US HR leadership team as well as the Director of Administration on London this is a diverse and varied role offering the successful candidate great exposure acriss the HR spectrum.
The firm is looking to meet with candidates with previous partnership, ideally legal, experience, who are already operating at Manager/BP level. Whilst there are no line management responsibilities having worked at Manager level is essential for this role as you will be responsible for the overall management of the HR function for London and parts of Europe.
