Be part of an Asia Pac HR team and support the Head of HR based in Sydney in this diverse and rewarding HR Business Partner role.

Global asset management business with a strong presence across Asia and a client group of circa 100 in Australia. An independent organisation that puts the needs of their clients first and hires people who are passionate about what they do and driven to deliver innovative client solutions.


Supported by a Head of HR based in Sydney, the HR Business Partner will be responsible for the full spectrum of the employee lifecycle including working with CEO teams where appropriate and will have the opportunity to lead or participate in regional or global HR projects and initiatives.

Activities will include: Providing HR insights and solutions that align to business goals, support and coach managers with a range of Employee Relations issues and building capability of teams, support the compensation review, Resourcing and Talent Planning. Supporting change management activities including restructures, transformation or redundancy.

Particular projects may include leading new L&D initiatives across the business by identifying training needs and implementing bespoke training plans.

About you

  • Confident, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
  • Experience taking the lead in HR projects
  • Experience managing the full HR lifecycle
  • Proactive - able to problem solve and work on your own initiative

This is a great opportunity to gain experience within a large global business while at the same time supporting a smaller client group where you will be highly visible and work in a high- touch and hands-on role. Also the opportunity to work on projects and lead initiatives.

Contract to permanent opportunity. Ideally you will be immediately available or on a reduced notice period.
