The Global Fund is a world renowned and highly regarded organisation that raises and invests billions of dollars globally to support healthcare programmes across multiple countries to accelerate the end of AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria as epidemics . This is an outstanding opportunity for an HR Business Partner to work with this well-known 21st century partnership organisation based in Geneva.

You will be working closely with the Head, of HR Business Partnering ensuring that managers and staff receive seamless, high quality, value adding HR services that support business operations whilst ensuring fair and consistent treatment of staff.

The role will also be responsible for the implementation of the organization's people strategy and advises senior managers on all employee-related matters such as employee relations, grievances, disciplinary actions, resourcing and compensation.

You will be a key liaison for Senior/Managers and consult with them on a range of HR matters. You will need to understand the strategic business plans and challenges of the different business areas, and their HR implications, develop HR strategies to support the business and ensure timely HR solutions to meet anticipated challenges.

You will also be applying best practices in human resources management to support performance improvements in the Divisions and Departments, including at team and individual levels.

Essential for this role:

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Finance and Business administration, Public Sector Administration, or related disciplines or equivalent combination of education and experience. Desirable: Master Degree or equivalent in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Finance and Business administration, Public Sector Administration, or related disciplines.
  • You will demonstrate a mastery of human resources, organizational development and change management theories, methods and best practices and possess relevant and progressive HRBP experience.
  • You will have experience of HR processes, such as performance and talent management, rewards and employee relations.
  • You will have a proven background in being a strategic practitioner with a proven ability in working effectively with senior stakeholders and as part of a senior management team.

In addition, an ability to work in a very diverse environment, with people from a wide range of different cultures and backgrounds (public and private sector); Strong analytical skills; Excellent and persuasive oral and written communications skills; professionally assertive with ability to influence without formal authority; Ability to devise meaningful people related analytics for business leaders; Ability to recover from setbacks, adapt well to change, and keep going in the face of difficult situations; Strong coaching and conflict resolution skills; Managing Organizational Change.

An excellent knowledge of English and preferably a good working knowledge of French or one of the following: Arabic, Chinese, Russian, and Spanish. Knowledge of other languages would be an asset.
