Our client is a global financial Services firm with a base in Singapore. They have engaged our services to find a new HR Business Partner to act as an individual contributor and partner with the Singapore office.
Working collaboratively with global and regional teams as well. For this role, you will need excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills and the ability to stand independently and manage HR BAU processes. You will drive the talent agenda, manage a robust and effective performance process, engagement, and ensure internal processes are streamlined and accessible to the business.
This is a 360 role where you will have end to end ownership of all aspects of HR from operations through to executing strategy and acting as a project lead across APAC. One minute you will be identifying internal talent plans and the next minute will be delivering an induction - you will need to roll your sleeves up.
You have an opportunity to make an impact, take a lead in areas that you feel would add value to the Singapore business and APAC as a whole. There is a shared service centre but you will need to be prepared to undertake your own administration. The successful candidate will drive a proactive and strategic HR service for the business. There is real appetite for this person to act as a thought leader and add strategic value to the client base.
You will be part of a wider HR team who are fun, friendly and down to earth and will provide mentorship. You will drive your presence from Singapore and embed yourself into your team who are located in a separate country. Singapore is a key growth market for the business so there will be growth and a spotlight on your patch. You will own the operations through to strategy for the Singapore population and liaise with your global counterparts.
The population is made up of entrepreneurial, bright and engaging analytical professionals who are not hierarchical. Based in Singapore, this role will be responsible for the implementation of the HR strategy and operations for Singapore. This is an opportunity to work with world class business leaders and carve a name and reputation for yourself internally.
This is perfect for someone earlier on in their career that may have been promoted to a business partner role more recently, or a fantastic HR Advisor looking to step up into the Business Partnering space!
Desirable: Ideally, this person has managed employee relations cases independently and feels comfortable in this space. They are updating their employee handbooks and experience in this would be advantageous.
