Do you love analysing People Data? Do you enjoy the more Operational side of HR? This global insurance business are recruiting an HR Analyst into their HR Operations Team. You'll help to analyse data across the HR remit, including Compensation and Benefits, and will help to ensure the HR Operations function runs smoothly during a period of great change for the business. This is initially a fixed term contract until the beginning of 2020, but due to the rapid growth of the firm there is a strong likelihood that the role will be made permanent.

You will help to manage the firm's HR system, pulling reports and analysing people data. This would include headcount, sickness absence and recruitment metrics, and you will present reports to the Board. You will also help to analyse data for the annual compensation and bonus reviews, and liaise with external providers to manage employee benefits. The business is highly acquisitive and you will take part in harmonisation projects as they acquire new businesses. The HR Director is building out a Centre of Excellence in HR Operations and the function will only grow in importance in the coming months.

Your advanced Excel skills and experience dealing with large data sets will be heavily relied upon. Previous experience of working in Reward or Payroll is essential, however this could have been as part of a generalist role. Experience of the financial services sector and regulatory compensation is highly desirable, but not essential, as long as you can deal with a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. You must be comfortable working in a rapidly changing, agile environment.
