We are delighted to work with a market leading property consultancy to recruit an HR Advisor, initially on a 12 Month Contract. This opportunity will include travel throughout the North region and can be based at Manchester, Leeds or Edinburgh.
This is a broad Generalist role, reporting into the Head of HR for the North, in which you will provide sound, commercial business advice to line managers across multiple sites. You will work with business leaders and build good working relationships in order to understand people issues. A key focus will be managing employee relations cases through to completion, providing expert advice to line managers and escalating to the Heads of People & Culture where appropriate.
You will proactively use MI from the Directors Dashboards to understand employee trends, respond to issues and provide reports on these trends. You will act as a point of contact for queries from employees and also provide and advice and support on issues relating to maternity or paternity leave, sick leave, along with conducting exit interviews.
In order to be successful in your application you will need to demonstrate generalist HR experience with a strong background in complex grievance/ employee relations issues. You need to have excellent communication skills and evidence of exemplary stakeholder management and customer engagement at all levels. This an extremely fast paced working environment and you will need to be comfortable managing a high workload.
