This Bristol based client is searching for a Head of Learning & Development to lead and manage a team of 10 with responsibility for the L&D strategy to support the delivery of the firm's business plan. This is a progressive and forward thinking company that enjoys fantastic buy in and support to Learning & Development.
Reporting into the HR Director, this is a key management position, not only responsible for the L&D strategy but also providing support and input into the wider People and Business Plans/Strategy. While leading and managing a team of 10, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with Leadership groups across the firm and act as a 'trusted advisor'. The team is responsible for providing programmes across all elements of Leadership Development and Learning, and you will be the focus for all organisational development and change programmes ensuring that strategic and operational delivery plans are in place. This includes talent and performance management, the learning framework, coaching at senior levels, and ensuring that all L&D policies and procedures fit the needs of the firm.
You will have worked at a similar level within Financial or Professional Services or a 'white collar' corporate environment, with extensive L&D/Organisational Development experience. Leading and managing a team will be a key requirement alongside your ability to work in a strategic capacity building strong relationships at all (senior) levels. You will be commercially focused and articulate, and be able to evidence driving change and OD led programmes.
