Our client is a Fortune 500 company and a global player in the Technology sector. Due to internal mobility they have an opening for an exceptional HR Leader to drive the development and implementation of their HR Strategy to support their organisation based in Seoul, Korea.
You will play a critical part in managing their human capital capability and help scale an innovative and ground breaking business, leading corresponding Merger & Acquisition and integration projects. As a seasoned Senior HR Business Partner you will assess the human resources needs in areas such as talent management and development, culture, diversity and inclusion, employee relations, compensation, and leadership development, subsequently driving the appropriate solutions in these areas. Partnering with senior leaders and HR colleagues within the region and globally, you will gain an understanding of business priorities and translate these into the HR agenda, diagnosing issues and developing solutions that foster growth, innovation and organizational effectiveness.

You will have earned the trust of executives, peers and teams through challenging preconceived norms to add value to a business beyond a pure human capital remit, developing programs that yield measurable change. Possessing natural gravitas and credibility, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of acting as a counselor and sounding board to CEOs or MDs and will be recognized for providing guidance that is indispensable in critical decision making.
You will have built deep relationships across cultural boundaries with both the business and peers within a global, senior HR team and approach challenges with original thinking, insight and tenacity. You may well also have subject matter expertise in a human capital discipline such as Learning & Development, Talent Management or Compensation and Benefits. Those with experience of American corporate culture or post-merger / acquisition integration environments would be beneficial and the ability to thrive in fast paced, data driven environment which operates within a matrix structure. Having lead HR and Commercial projects/programs you will have delivered change with measurable results and as a natural coach, you are a great people manager and understand how to build, develop and motivate a team.
This position is open to candidates that speak and write fluent Korean (as well as have strong business level English language capability) and have experience working within an MNC within the Technology sector.
