Right now, they under-going a transformation which is focusing on building future capabilities and the workforce of the future and hence is looking for a HR Director to join the team.

Job Description

This is an exciting position with the aim in mind of grooming and preparing this individual to eventually move internationally for another role within the organization, globally. This role will encompass building relationships at both the mid to senior levels across management and to influence appropriately through these relationships to help achieve HR & business objectives. You will take on both a strategic and operational role to have a sound understanding of the human capital capabilities of the organization while ensuring that the policies and processes are relevant to the current industry practices. They are currently focusing on building up the talent & learning capabilities of the organization and there will be plenty of conversations revolving around succession planning, learning agility and talent gaps etc. This is a succession role to the current incumbent who will be succeeding into another role in the organization.

The Successful Applicant

Ideally, they are looking for a forward-thinking HR practitioner who has astute understanding of the Indian market. They are extremely huge on succession planning and hence they have an expectation that the individual is able to be internationally mobile after 3-4 years into this role. You should have strong experience managing functions such as Sales & Marketing and Supply Chain and a understanding of the local laws and regulations. As you will be partnering both the commercial & manufacturing businesses, you should be able to toggle between a commercial mindset and an operational/plant perspective. Given the structure, the team is very lean and they love people who can be extremely hands-on, proactive and showcase leadership.
