Our client, a highly regarded global financial services organisation is looking for an accomplished HR Programme Director (permanent position), ideally with a combination of in-house HR Change & client facing HR Consulting / Programme Management experience, to join a business-critical agile HR program in a highly visible Group Program Lead/Director role, supporting the CIB area of the bank.
Reporting in to the Global Head of HR, and operating as part of a lean project team, also leveraging the CoE's, this individual will be responsible for driving a strategic programme through, group-wide, end-to-end as part of a high performing team, which consists of top tier external consultants as well as internal HR employees.
This is a truly exciting global programme which the CIB business is piloting, with a view for this to be rolled out across the rest of the business at a latter point. The focus of the project is all about preparing the workforce for the future.
The organisation has already defined a number of key initiatives (strategic priorities) which will enable a future ready workforce. Some of the key priorities already in scope, for the purpose of this project, include areas such as; strategic workforce planning, upskilling and reskilling, diversity and inclusion, building a clear employer value proposition and driving cultural change. The project team consists of a number of specialists which will define the content and progress in each of these individual areas (workstreams) and the role of this Group HR Program Director will be to sit across all of these areas, ensuring the end-to-end delivery of the overall future of work programme across 2-3 years.
This individual will succeed in this role through; being able to translate strategy in to measurable deliverables, operating within agile cross-functional teams and creating clear governance, metrics and expected ROI to enable ongoing review of progress. The ability to influence and manage senior stakeholder relationships internally (in CIB & leveraging CoE's) and externally (e.g. vendors) to deliver against program targets will be key, ensuring risks and issues are address and resolved in a timely manner, with effective change & communications throughout. You will also have the support of a Project Associate to support with the coordination of this program.
This individual with either be a Management Consultant (Director / Associate Partner level equivalent) who has operated in Financial Services and has a track record delivering (on a global or regional level) large scale HR Change Programmes, ideally related to the Future of Work. Alternatively, you may already be operating in a global financial services and / or fintech business in a similar Director or Exec Director role, where you are a HR Programme Manager with a focus on delivering HR change initiatives. You will be comfortable operating in agile cross-business matrix teams and able to deliver through others in a Programme Director capacity. Interviews will kick off mid-March!
