This is a 'new' role within the company that employs over 6,000+ professionals across their international network. You will be based in their Shanghai (ideally) or Hong Kong office and have an opportunity to make a transformative and lasting impact on the firm, by developing strategies that support their "people first" culture - creating exceptional employee experience that enables the firm to attract, retain, and reward the industry's top talent in this growing region.
Leading the region's talent strategy, you'll be the key strategic business partner, thought leader, and change agent to the Regional Managing Principals and will you will also lead and support the execution of HR programs, tools, through your leadership of the regional HR team. Our client is interesting is speaking with experienced and entrepreneurial HR professionals who have a balance of strategic and operational knowledge of core HR fundamentals, including strategy, program management, and delivery of services and programs.
You will ideally have 15+ years' experience within an MNC environment within Greater China and demonstrated experience building HR programs from scratch as well as capability within a HR organization.
You will need good business acumen and judgement in order to influence and build credibility with this diverse leadership team. You will have lead and developed teams ideally within a matrixed organization. Those with experience working in Professional Services environments are encouraged to apply, along with those with similar industry experience.
The role requires the incumbent to have a good level of spoken Chinese (Business sufficient) and English.
