Delighted to be working with a sizable and international technology company, with global operations and solid footprint in Asia Pacific. Due to natural attrition, they are looking for a Global Head of Human Resources in Shenzhen to manage full function of HR and leading a global HR team in executing talent strategies including but not limited. The organization has over 20 offices worldwide and a headcount of close to 1800 staffs.
The role reports into the Chief Executive Officer and you will partner closely with senior executives and board members on global HR strategy and determine how it applies to country level and identify actions that need to be taken.
Leading a team of professional staff , you will lead the evaluation of HR programs, recommending and driving modification/change to maintain the organization's objectives and competitive position in the marketplatce. There will be a strong focus on global HR strategy in near term.
Overseeing project management of change initiatives, you will need to provide coaching and counsel the global business leaders, HRBPs and employees on business strategy, HR policies, programs and communciation, serving as a bridge between management team and staffs in order to reacting quickly to everchanging market trend.
You will need to use your experience as a thought leader to provide 'creative'solutions in respect of enhancements, efficiencies and statutory changes to HR programs. The role will also require you to oversee the enhancement of HR infranstrucutre as welll as global policies and procedures.
The Successful Applicant
Our client is interested to speak with individualos that have broad APAC/Global leadership experience ideally within sizable Technology and Semiconductors companies. However, candidates outside the sector will be considered if they have strong knowledge on HR best practices from sizable MNCs. Strong communication and influencing skills are a must with the ability to communicate complex concepts simply both verbally and in terms of written communications and policy proposals. Knowledge of regional/global employement law and tax law will also be important.
You should also hold a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 15 years of HR experience and 8 years in a team leadership role. Fluency in English and experience working with C Suite executives in the region is paramount.
