As such, this is an exceptional opportunity for an passionate and forward thinking DEI professional to take ownership in guiding the senior leadership and HR leader n this area of specialty.
Reporting to the Global Head of Diversity, Equality and Inclusion, the Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Head for Asia has the responsibilities to drive an inclusive and diverse work environment by providing bespoke and effective strategies, knowledge, experiences, and programs to create a workplace community that leverages, develops, and retains employees driving business impact. This includes close collaboration with Global DEI team to develop and create global and regional people initiatives, acting as the advocate for critical topics relevant to Asia Pacific markets.
The Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Head for Asia will be a trusted advisor to the business on matters of diversity, equity and inclusion, whilst aligning to cascade and implement the regional/business specific aspects of the DEIB approach. The Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Head for Asia will liaise closely with external partners such as Ethnicity & Heritage, Gender Equality, LGBTQI+, to drive their success.
The Successful Candidate
To succeed in this role, you should have 8 years of extensive experience in driving and developing DEI programmes, particularly for a fast paced and high growth organisation. You are passionate and experienced subject matter expert on DEI related issues, topics, and programs who is able to develop industry best practices and/or initiatives to create awareness and ability to embed into the culture of the organisation. You are a strong communicator and presenter with the ability to convey complex ideas, concepts, and proposals clearly and concisely, along with the ability to influence a broad group of internal and external stakeholders. You posses strong consultancy and relationship building skills to create meaningful connect with our clients, partners and they communities relating to the organisation's DEI directives.
