Frazer Jones is working with a leading global financial services business based in central London. We are looking to hire a Compensation Manager to take a lead on the bank's compensation compliance and governanance as well as support with wider compensation responsibilities.

This newly created role will support the UK&I locations (c500 staff) and will be responsible for monitoring and implementing remuneration regulations (currently implementing CRD V), review remuneration policies and processes in line with applicable regulations, coordinate RemCo activities and manage the delivery of regulatory remuneration filings. Key duties will be to manage the Regulatory Remuneration policy team, monitor external regulatory developments, which may have an impact on current UK&I remuneration policies and processes and support the annual review of MRT identification frameworks and the day-to-day identification of the MRT population. You will work with the wider compensation team to prepare and lead (where applicable) on presentations for RemCo and Board meetings on key remuneration governance and regulatory matters. Contribute to the annual review of regional remuneration policies and regulatory deferral schedules in line with applicable rules and contribute to the training of the wider HR team on regulatory remuneration matters.

As a result the bank is looking to meet candidates who have gained some exposure of the regulatory reward landscape as it applies to tier 2 financial services businesses, coupled with meticulous attention to detail with excellent prioritisation skills (the ability to handle multiple projects at the same time).

This role offers excellent development opportunities and so this could be an excellent opportunity for someone who has gained some supporting experience with a financial institution's compensation governanance and comliance policies but would like to make the step up in to a senior management role. Likewise it could be a great opportunity for a more experienced hire that is looking to work for a bank that offers excellent benefits and genuinely lovely working culture. The bank is big enough for you to get your teeth stuck in to some challenging work but also small enough that you can have greater influence on projects and exposure to all levels across the business.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop regulatory awareness and technical expertise, learning from a highly regarded and supportive Head of Reward. Please contact Nick Arnold at Frazer Jones for more information
