About Our Client

Our client is a European conglomerate in the FMCG industry and is a dominant market player across Asia. They have undergone a transformation in recent years globally and right now their focus is to ensure that change management is also implemented through at the country level. They are looking for a Commercial HR Business Partner (Manager/Senior Manager level) to join their business.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Head of HR for Singapore, your business partnering portfolio will revolve the sales & marketing division, partnering closely with the Director of Sales, Marketing and the General Manager. Apart from the business-as-usual partnering activities, you will be involved in transformational/change projects which will go in-line with expectations that the business has set as part of their transformational journey; Particularly, on the mindset, attitudes, behaviours of existing employees. You will also be responsible for assessing the current capabilities and to engage in capability building; higher involvement in performance management and influencing thought processes and outcomes, understanding current gaps and what future gaps the business will face and to plan appropriately for it.

The Successful Applicant

Ideally, you should possess a minimum of 12 years of Human Resources experience with at least the last 5 years, partnering in a commercial environment. Someone coming from FMCG/Pharma environments where you have been based in manufacturing plants would be ideal as they would be able to assimilate quickly into the culture and way of working with the organization. Ideally, they are looking for someone who has experience in change management and is highly commercial. Given the nature of the business, they are looking for someone who is dynamic and could connect at a personal level with sales & marketing folks, someone who has high energy levels and is proactive in his/her approach. They will need this individual to also be forward thinking and someone who plans for his/her career as this will be part of succession planning into the Head of HR position.
