Our client, a leading law firm, is seeking a skilled professional to join them as a career advisor to serve in an advisory capacity to lawyers and alumni. This highly visible role is ideal for a lateral legal recruiter working within a law firm or a highly skilled legal search professional accustomed to providing continuous guidance and advice while building professional relationships with attorneys. This role, alongside the wider career advisory function, is instrumental in assisting attorneys in their next professional pursuit while fostering longstanding mutually fruitful future business relationships. If you enjoy providing support throughout professional job searches, are skilled in interfacing with accomplished legal professionals, and have the utmost attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality and trust, this role would be an excellent next step. J.D. and work as a practicing attorney in the past would be a plus, but is not a requirement. 5 or more years of relevant experience will predict success in this dynamic and autonomous role, as will strong knowledge of legal hiring trends and a natural ability to multitask and exhibit strong ethics and judgment.
- 5-10+ years of experience in career coaching and/or in-house recruiting, preferably in the legal industry or other professional services firm
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- JD and experience as an attorney
- Experience sourcing and placing attorneys into in-house positions
